Mr. Rodger Allen Green, 38, of 1790 Bowman Hwy., Dewy Rose, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his home after an extended illness.
Rodger was born in Gresham, Oregon, to Roger Lee Green and Sharrell Lynett Haggstrom. He was employed by Nutra Manufacturing. Rodger was preceded in death by his father, Roger Green, an aunt, Valerie Crawford, and his step-father, Jimmy Kinser.
Survivors include his wife, Tanna Bowman Green; children: Corey Price, Breanna Green, and Develyn Chase Green. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Cory Kinser and Jeff Green; and one sister, Kelly Driver; his mother, Sharrell Kinser; an uncle, Dave Haggstrom; and several other relatives including nieces and nephews.
The funeral service celebrating Rodger’s life will be Sunday, March 20, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, Ga. Visitation will be Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Rev. Dennis Duck will be the minister.
Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery in Elberton, Georgia. Flowers will be graciously accepted.
