Mr. Thomas Shane Smith, age 36, of 217 Pierce Brown Road, Hartwell, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in his home.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 4pm from the Chapel of The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. The body is being cremated.
Born on November 25, 1972 in Oconee County, SC, he is the son of Thomas Junior Smith and Susan Loraine Nix Smith of Westminster, SC. He was employed with Wal-Mart of Toccoa.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas Junior Smith and Susan Loraine Nix Smith of Westminster, SC; wife, Deborah Hunnicutt Smith of the home; sons, Thomas Cody Smith and Christopher Owen Smith, both of the home; sister, Sandra Smith of Westminster, SC; and a paternal grandmother, Swanee Smith of Westminster, SC.
