Ricky Wallace

Mr. Ricky David Wallace, age 56, of 2087 Athens Highway, Elberton, husband of Louise Ann Floyd Wallace, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1pm from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Rev. Lonnie Bennett will officiate and burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will be at the home, 2087 Athens Highway, Elberton, and will receive friends Saturday from 11-1 just prior to the service in Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Terry Stowers, Jerry Eaton, Rob Starrett, Sanford Cole, Harold Hill, Joe Brown, Clint McCannon, and Kevin McCannon.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was a son of the late Noble David Wallace and Mary Starrett Wallace. He was a member of the Hartwell Church of God, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and was retired from the Georgia Army National Guard with 21 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of the hoe, Louise Ann Floyd Wallace; daughter, Kellee McGowan of Elberton; son, Michael Wallace of Greenwood, SC; sisters, Mary Jane Gordon of Madison and Debra Picard of Hartwell; and two grandchildren.
