Mrs. Frances Bell Hudson, age 97, of 2358 Hudson Road, Elberton, widow of Albert R. Hudson, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
The graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11am from Fortsonia Community Cemetery. Rev. Connie Ivester will officiate. The family will be at the home of Donald and Elizabeth Hudson, 2368 Hudson Road, Elberton, and will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday night in Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to T.J. & Friends Foundation, 1675 Deep Creek Road, Dewy Rose, Georgia, 30634.
Born in Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. Bell, Sr. and Marietta Dye Bell. She was a homemaker and a member of Fortsonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Elizabeth Hudson, Sr. of Elberton; brother, Hubert J. Bell of Elberton; grandchildren, Shelia and Tex Findley, Donnie and Anita Hudson, and Billy and Donna Hudson; great-grandchildren, Chris and Wendy Hudson, Amanda and Justin Fortson, Wade Johnson, and Candice Johnson; and great-great-grandchildren, Jackson Hudson, Mattison Hudson, Will Fortson, and Charles Fortson.
