Mrs. Katie Elizabeth Partain, age 80, of 3168 HWY 172 East, Bowman, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2009.The graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 1pm from Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Adams will officiate and burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Thursday night in Berry Funeral Home.

She was a daughter of the late Thomas Lester Wilder and Mattie Belle Brackett Wilder, and was seamstress from Oxford MFG. where she retired.
Survivors include daughter, Dicie Rogers; sons, Larry Gene Scoggins, Victor Leroy Scoggins, and Gregory Lamar Scoggins; step-daughter, Melvene Martin; step-sons, Michael S. Partain, Leonard Partain, and Johnny Partain; sisters, Jeanette Davis, Patricia Barnes, Shirley McCannon, Vera Farrow, Pauline Hatton, and Maxine Burdette; brother, Charlie Lester Wilder; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
