Miss April Jean Duncan, age 33, of Ocean Ridge, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009.The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 4pm from the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Vaughn will officiate and burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 just prior to the service in the funeral home. Flowers are being accepted; however, the family suggests that memorials be made to 4KIDS of South Florida, 827 South State Road 7 North, Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
She was the daughter of Nancy Alleva of Ocean Ridge, Florida and Dennis Duncan on McDonough, Georgia.
Survivors include her son, Liam Boyd Tyre of Waupaca, WI; mother and step-father, Nancy and Frank Alleva of Ocean Ridge, Florida; father and step-mother, Dennis and Debbie Duncan of McDonough, Georgia; grandmother, Mildred Jean Dearman and Donnie LeNgyel, of Dewy Rose; and half-brothers, Eric Duncan and Zachery Duncan, both of USMC Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
