Mr. Jimmy Pless, age 67, of 2289 Harmony Road, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in the Elbert Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2pm from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gaines Chapel Holiness Church Cemetery in Hart County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday night in Berry Funeral Home.
Born in Stephens County, he was a son of the late Oscar Pless and Lathey E. Young Pless. He was a retired big mill polisher, and of the Holiness Faith.
Survivors include his fiancee', Patsy Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Clifford Shepherd and Hannah Mae and Hamp Brown; sister-in-law, Mary Pless; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy Lee and Mae Pless and Hubert and Wanda Pless; brother-in-law, Phillip Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.
