Mr. James Charles Thatcher, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in Athens Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10am from the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-9 Friday evening in Hicks Funeral Home.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Virgina Thatcher; daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Lama Pullian, Tammy Bennett, Teresa Weaver, and Tracy and Terry Harris; and grandchildren, Tony and Tonya Pullian, Joshua and Amanda Bennetty, Kendra, Kristen, and Nick Crawford, Erica Rice, and Kelsey Harris. A number of friends and other relatives also survive.
