Miss Deborah Jean “Debbie” Moore, age 54, 6125 Hwy 106 S, of Hull, formerly of Hartwell, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 in Athens Regional Medical Center.
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 2pm from the Hartwell Chapel of The Strickland Funeral Home. Rev. Herman Nation will officiate; the body was cremated. The family is at the home of Pam Wilson, 185, Hartwell, and will receive friends from 1-2 just prior to the service in The Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel. The family has requested that flowers please be omitted and memorials may be made to Word of Life Church, 615 West Second Avenue, PO Box 1189 Colbert, Georgia 30628.
Born March 6, 1955 in Anderson County, SC, she is the daughter of Milton Moore and Annie Ruth Harrington Moore of Iva, SC. She was a member of Word of Life Church, Colbert. Miss Moore is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Lucy Mae Moore
Survivors include her parents, Milton & Annie Ruth Harrington Moore of Iva; brother and sister-in-law, Sammy & Lora Moore of Starr; sister, Pam Wilson of Hartwell; maternal grandmother, Mary Harrington of Iva; four nieces; and six nephews.
