Tim Fowler

Mr. Walter "Tim" Fowler, age 56, of Calhoun Falls, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 3pm from the Chapel of Calhoun Falls Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Latimer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm just prior to the service in the funeral home and at other times will be at the residence of Grace Fowler, 610 Darlington Street in Calhoun Falls.

Mr. Fowler was born in Anderson, SC to Walter Martin Fowler and Grace Hardy Fowler. He operated LeAnn's Produce in Calhoun Falls, and he was a former employee of Coca-Cola for 17 years. He also worked at Emerald Lanes Bowling Center and delivered newspapers locally. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his father and by a sister, LeNay Aderhold.

Survivors include his wife, Laurel Stribling Fowler; daughter of the home, Elizabeth LeAnn Fowler; granddaughter of the home, Brittney Irene Riley; daughters, Kimberly Irene (Jeff) Mills, of Ninety Six, Nancy Ann Crocker, Greenwood, Nicole Latrelle Fowler, Abbeville, and Kristina (Michael) Nanna, Boiling Springs; son, Edward Wilie Black, Ninety Six; nine other grandchildren; mother, Grace H. Fowler, Calhoun Falls; and two nephews.
