Kermit R. Booth Jr., 72, of 2622 Sand Hill Rd, Bowman, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 12noon from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Adams will officiate and burial will follow in Booth Memorial Park, Statham, with Military Honors. The family is at the residence and will receive friends from 6-9 Thursday night in Berry Funeral Home.
Born in Hall County, he was a son of the late Kermit R. Booth Sr. and Gladys Mae Wallace Booth. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 21 years of service, where he was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict, he was a member of the American Legion for 16 years, and a lifelong member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Dunn Booth; sons, Kermit R. Booth III, and Gregory Keith Booth; brother, Edward R. Booth; grandchildren, Bridgette, Brooke, Lance, Cory, Kerri, Jacob, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Emma, Savannah, Patrick, and a 4th expected.
