Forrest Vereen

Mr. Forrest Larue Vereen, age 22, of Paoli, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in Grady Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries he receive in a motorcycle accident.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 5-8pm at Camp Kiwanis, 2613 Old Wildcat Bridge Road, Danielsville. The body is being cremated and the family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Saturday in the Danielsville Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted at the Danielsville Chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home. Donations will also be accepted by the Madison County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, an organization Forrest believed in and supported.

He was the son of Julia Vareen, father and stepmother, Garrie and Windy Vareen. Forrest was adored, respected, and will be sorely missed by all family and friends throughout the Madison, Clarke and Oglethorpe areas.

Survivors include his mother, Julia Vereen; his father and stepmother, Garrie and Windy Vereen; his brothers, Colin and Everett Vereen; his sister, Jane Hunter Vereen; his grandparents, Colonel and Mrs. Charles Larue Webb of Enterprise, AL and Joyce B. Purvis of Canton, GA; his aunts, Tammy Webb of Hull, GA, Kathleen Vereen, and Jamie Purvis of Woodstock, GA; his uncle, Kyle Vereen of Athens, GA; and numerous other family members, relatives, and friends. He was adored, respected, and will be sorely missed by all family and friends throughout the Madison, Clarke, and Oglethorpe areas.
