Ellis Matthew Rian Madden, age 32, of 307 Timberlake Road, Anderson, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009 in his residence.
Born in Elberton, GA, he was the son of Rahnal Madden of Elberton, GA and Treina Ann Carter of Anderson. He was a graduate of Westside High School and had attended Winthrop College. Rian was currently a nursing student at Tri-County Technical College.
Survivors include his parents and stepfather, Farrell Carter of Anderson; grandmother, Jean Cotitta; and several aunts and uncles, all of Phoenix, AZ.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2pm from the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Silvey will officiate and burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
