Mr. Yancy "Everett" Burton, age 80, of Hartwell, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2009 following an extended illness.
The graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11:30am in the Rocky River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday night in Calhoun Falls Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Burton and brothers, Coleman Burdette and Neil Burton and was a member of the Rocky River Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his sons, Richard Scoggins, Michael Scoggins, Lee Scoggins, and Kenneth Burton; brothers, Howard Burton, Truman Burton, and Harlan Burton; sister, Jeanette Ware; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
