Mr. Travis Mark "Lightning" Mills, age 39, of 1297 Ridge Road, Dewy Rose, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009.
Born in Elbert County, he was a son of the late Wallace E. Mills and Juanita Childs Mills. He was a member of the Eliam United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Casey Mills of Jackson County; and a sister, Robin Dutton of Dewy Rose.
Funeral services for Mr. Mills will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 3pm from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Martin will officiate. Johnny Burton, Ricky Burton, Walter Mills, Jordan Black, and Max will serve as pallbearers and burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family is at the home, 1297 Ridge Road, and will receive friends from 2-3PM Monday at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to Dewy Rose Baptist Church.
