Kenneth McCullough

Mr. Kenneth McCullough, age 81, of 2021 Marion Road, Elberton, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 in St. Mary's Hospital.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2pm from Rock Branch Baptist Church. Revs. Ken Wright, Ed Sayer, and Tim Adams will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of Ruth McCullough 1654 Cromer Road, and will receive friends from 6-8PM Saturday night at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Jeff McCullough, Kevin McCullough, Doug Coker, Rob Dye, Frank Eaves, and Rob Starrett. Honorary pallbearers will include Tony Graham, Dreck Thompson, Matt Moon, Bob Ward, David Anderson, Barry Phillips, Ben Brown, and Robert McBride.

Born in Elbert County, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a son of the late Charles B. McCullough and Corene Anderson McCullough. Mr. McCullough was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church, a truck driver for Elberton Poultry, and a farmer.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Branyon, Melissa Moon, Cindy Wiggins, and Kim Trotter; son, David McCullough; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and former wife, Ruth McCullough.
