Mr. David George Isinghood, age 66 of Hartwell, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Hart County Hospital. The body is being cremated and the memorial mass will beheld on Saturday, November 12, 2009 at 12noon from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Terence Kane service as Celebrant. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent De Paul at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
Born on June 29, 1943 in Wellsburg, WVA, he was the son of the late Robert Elden Isinghood and Josephine Debner Isinghood. He was retired from Delta Airlines after 28 years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion, and a U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam War Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Huggins Isinghood of the home; sons, David Robert Isinghood of Alpharetta, GA and Damon Fredrick Isinghood of Simpsonville, SC; brothers, Robert Isinghood of Ft.Worth, TX and Richard Isinghood of Auburndale, FL; sisters, Clara Visnic of Steubenville, OH, Mary Wheaton of Charles Town, W.VA, Jo Ann Knowles of Alton IL; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Makenna, Mason, Sierra and Delaney.
