Mrs. Blanche Peterman Armour, age 91, of Washington, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Wills Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 3pm from the Rock United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Monday evening in the funeral home.
She was a native of Oglethorpe County, the daughter of the late Gid N. and Beulah Coe Peterman. Mrs. Armour was a retired secretary from Callaway Farms and had been a school teacher for 10 years. She was a member of Rock UMC.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin D. Armour; sons, David N. Armour, Robert ‘Bobby’O. Armour, Hilton Head, SC; granddaughters, Theresa Dykes and Amada Perkins; Grandson, Sterling Armour Shealey; and great grandchildren, Cheyenne Burnett, Gavin Armour, Brittany Shealey and Madison Shealey.
