Robert Theis

Mr. Robert L. Theis, age 84, of Washington, passed away on October 9, 2009 in Wills Memorial Hospital.

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 11am from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Chris Williamson will serve as Celebrant. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church

He was a native of Hastings, Nebraska, the son of the late Frank and Hattie Gilsdorf Theis. Mr. Theis was a retired Management Analyst for the U.S. Government and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Theis.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Theis; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald & Patti Theis, of Lincoln, NE; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie & Richard Seitner, of Omaha, NE, Vicki & Thomas Mulherin, of Evans and Torri &Mike Gulledge, of Dothan, AL; two brothers, James F. Theis, Topeka, KS and Francis Theis, Hastings, NE; five sisters, Mary Marian, St. Louis, MO, Jeanne Brusnahan, Lincoln, NE, Delores Gibbs, Burlingame, CA, Alice Pumulia, Omaha, NE, Day Everett, Bellevue, NE; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
