Mrs. Freda Greenway Fontenot, age 88, of Lawrenceville, formerly of Elberton, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009 in Ashton Hall Senior Living.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 2pm from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Smith will officiate and burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2 just prior to the service on Sunday in the funeral home. Flowers WILL NOT be accepted and memorials may be made to Ashton Hall Senior Living, 1155 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045.
She was a daughter of the late Will Greenway and Ruby Bond Greenway.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Olin Craven; sister, Jackie Bond; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
