Mr. Raymond Jasper Tate, age 67, 2016 John Tate Drive, Bowman, passed away on September 4, 2009 in Athens Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will beheld on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 3pm from the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of Bobby Tate, 2016 John Tate Drive. The body is in the Berry Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday night. Flowers are optional.
Born in Madison County, he was a son of Willie Mae Jordan Tate and the late John Jasper Tate.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Rousey Tate; daughter, April Canter; son, David Tate; mother, Willie Mae Jordan Tate; sisters, Phyllis Scarborough and Joyce Suttles; brother, Bobby Tate; and 5 grandchildren.
