Mr. Thomas W. Nelson, age 59, of Dewy Rose, passed away July 24, 2009.The memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at 3pm from the Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Purvis will officiate.
He worked in the granite industry as a top polisher, truck driver, and maintenance technician for thirty five years. Mr. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Howard Nelson and Dorothy Emily Goble; his brothers, Lonnie Sandford; and grandson, Joshua Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Nelson; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Chad Arganbright, Brandy and Danny Arganbright, Kelly Davis, and Talitha Nelson; sons and daughter-in-law, Patrick Nelson and Ben and Stacey Stafford; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Sanford, Teddy Wayne, and Ricky Nelson; sisters, Charlotte and Teresa; and several nieces and nephews.
