Edwin "Red" Craft, age 78, of 258 Craft Road, Hartwell passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 in his home.
The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 11am from the cemetery at Cross Roads Baptist Church. Rev. Carter Tucker will officiate. The body is in the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9 – 10:30 am prior to the graveside. The family is at his home.
Born on March 19, 1931 in Hart County, he was the son of the late Cheddie Craft and Fleddie Adams Craft. Mr. Craft was a farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.P., George, William, Alvin, Hoyt, Bobby, and Joe Glover Craft; and sisters, Irene Craft, Alma Craft, and Mendora Poss.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Curtis and Frances Craft and Ray Craft of Hartwell, GA.
