Mrs. Elma Giannoni Myers, age 86, of 68 Smith St, Hartwell, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 in St. Mary’s Hospice House, Bogart.
The graveside service will on Sunday, June 21 at 10am from the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary McCurley officiating. The body is in The Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to:

Born on July 29, 1922 in Barre, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Giannoni and Victoria Cecchini Giannoni. Mrs. Myers was Secretary & Treasurer of GOCO. Inc. and a member of the Good Sheppard Fellowship of Hartwell. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Former Hartwell Mayor, Thomas E. Myers; and a grandson, Justin P. Myers
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tommy Myers and Britt and Cindy Myers all of Hartwell; and four grandchildren, Harley Myers, Colby Myers, Jeremy Myers and Lauren Myers.
