Kathleen Smith Worley, age 86, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 in Athens Regional Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 3pm from the Memorial Chapel in Berry Funeral Home. Dr. Wallace E. Wheelis and Rev. J. Wesley Privett will officiate and burial will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3 just prior to the service in Berry Funeral Home. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Waymon and Sondra Worley; sisters, Virginia Grimes and Lorene Collins; brother, Harry Smith; three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Amy & Ken Rice, Ivey & Mike Brookes, and Katy & Jeff Wright; and four great-grandchildren, Zach Brookes, MacKenzie Brookes, Lindsey Rice, and Brayden Rice.
