Mr. George W. Hood, Sr., age 88, of 219 Cedar Street, Elberton passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2099 in Jefferson Hospital, Louisville.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2pm from the Macedonia Fire Baptized Holiness Church. The church in located on McKinley Street in Elberton. Burial will follow in the family plot of Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The body is in Phelps Funeral Home, Elberton.
