Pauline Taylor

Mrs. Pauline Reid Taylor, age 86, of 666 Heard Drive, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 3pm from the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Whitfield will officiate and burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will be at the home, 666 Heard Drive and will receive friend from 6-8 Tuesday night in Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Elberton First Baptist Church or to the Elbert County Library.

Born in Macon County - Cowee Community, Franklin, NC, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Willburn Sr. and Cora Lucille Jones Reid. She was a member of the Elberton First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mrs. Taylor was a school teacher for 13 years and the owner/operator of ACE Hardware with her husband, the late Ralph Taylor. She is preceded in death by a son, Clint Taylor; sister, Mildred Strauss; and brother, Andrew Willburn Reid, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Prudence A. Taylor of Greenwood, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph B. and Mary Taylor, Jr of Fredericksburg, VA; sister, Dorothy Tessier of Ocoee, FL; and one grandchild, Mollie Taylor.
