Mrs. Maude Alice White, age 102 of Hartwell passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 in Hartwell Healthcare Center.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Dale Zaboroskie will officiate. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The body will be at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to: Bio Baptist Church, 2145 Bio Church Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.

Born July 11, 1907 in Elbert Co., GA, she was the daughter of the late John Hailey Mann and Leila Eugenia Partain Mann. She was retired from Eagle Grove School as a Dietician. She was a member of Bio Baptist Church and the WMU.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, James F. “Jimmy” White; Brothers, Lamar, Tom, Claude, Marshall and Joe Mann and a Sister, Mildred Carlton.
