Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday March 3, 2011 at Christian Worship Assembly Church, Hartwell, Georgia 30643. Burial, Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Bowersville Georgia. Rev. Thaxton will be place in the church at 10:00am Thursday until hour of service.
Survivors include his spouse Bernice Thaxton, Sons, JAE Thaxton, Ivan Thaxton, Gregory Thaxton, Ryan Thaxton, Wes Thaxton, Neil Thaxton; daughters, Sydney Thaxton, Rhendy “Addie” Thaxton, Tina Davis Larkin; brother, James Fluellen; sisters, Sylvia Bates, Brenda Ponder, Barbara Ann Shumaker, a host of other relatives and friends.
The Family is at the residence and will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mack’s Funeral Home, 226 Maple St. Hartwell, GA 30643. 706 376-7566
