Kenneth Gary Thompson

Mr. Kenneth Gary Thompson, Jr., 33, of Washington, died March 7, 2011 in MCG.

He was a native of Washington, the son of Winnie Armour Thompson and the late Kenneth Gary Thompson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a fork lift operator for Broome Lumber Company and was of the Baptist Faith. He will missed by family and friends, especially by nephew, Bryan Welch, who was more like a best friend.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Casper officiating.

Bryan Welch, Daniel Braxton, Charlie Broome, Mike Driggers, Joey Collins and Andy McCarty will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include his wife, Nicole Peacock Thompson, of Washington; son, Blake Peacock and daughter, Christen Moon, both of Washington;; mother, Winnie A. Thompson of Washington; sisters, Regina Thompson, Anderson, S.C., Phyllis Anderson, Washington and Cynthia McCarty, Washington.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Time Christian Center or to County Line Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
