Rosemary Clary Clubb

Mrs. Rosemary Clary Clubb, 77, of 106 Winton Lane entered into rest on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Washington at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 with Rev. Gale Seibert officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove United Methodist Church cemetery in Lincoln County with Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Lindsey, Gerald Lawson, Doug Aycock, Darren Pharr, Mark Ward, and Eddie Finnell.

Mrs. Clubb was the daughter of the late James Burgess Clary and the late Willie Lee Brown Clary of Lincoln County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Washington and was a longtime member of the Pilot Club of Washington.

Survivors include her husband, Hal Weldon Clubb; two sons, James Jarrett "Jim" Clubb of Washington and Toby Weldon Clubb and wife, Karen of Macon; one daughter, Rosemarie Clubb Johnson of Washington; one brother, William "Bill" Clary and wife, Fannie of Lincolnton; one sister, Hilda Clary Quarles and husband, Don of Kansas City, MO.; three grandchildren, John Adam Godfrey and wife, Amanda , Jarrett Weldon Clubb and Payne Tapley Clubb; one step granddaughter, Savanah Johnson; three step great grandchildren, Price, Mackenzie and Tad Simpkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Clubb was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Clary Sutherland.
