Matt Bond

Mr. Mattox William "Matt" Bond III, age 46, of Elberton passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.

At Matt's request, the body has been cremated with a private memorial service to be held by the family. Those wishing to make memorial donations may do so at any North East Georgia Bank to the Bill Bond Trust Fund.

Born on December 18, 1962, he was the son on Jan Bond of Elberton and the late Maurice Bond. Matt was a member of Elberton First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Phillips Bond; son, Bill Bond; mother, Jan Bond; sisters, Lisa Wyllie and Mary Catherine Bond; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Lanita Phillips; sisters-in-law, Ashley Purcell and Kelly Hunt; and a number of friends and other relatives also survive.
