Ron Ethridge, Jr.

Mr. Ronald Freddie "Ron" Ethridge, Jr., age 38, of Bonner Road, Hartwell, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009 in his residence.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 4pm from the Hartwell Chapel of The Strickland Funeral Home. The body was cremated. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm Sunday just prior to the service in the funeral home.

Born on December 27, 1970 in Hart County, he was the son of R. Fred Ethridge of Alpharetta and Laura Skelton Jacques of Athens. He was a former electrician and a member of the Oak Bower Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, A.J. Ethridge and Kinsey Ethridge both of Hartwell; parents, Ronald Freddie "Fred" Ethridge, Sr. of Alpharetta and Laura Skelton Jacques of Athens; a sister, Melanie E. Painter of Alpharetta; grandparents, Doyle and Annie Lois Ethridge of Hartwell and Mary Skelton of Toccoa.
