Mr. Howard L. Greenway, 73, of 1432 Tobe Wells Road, Elberton, husband of Peggy Greenway, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 4pm from Rock Branch Baptist Church. Revs. Ken Wright & Earl Sayer will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home, 1432 Tobe Wells Road, and will receive friends from 7-9 Sunday night in Berry Funeral Home. The body is in the funeral home and will be placed in the church at 3pm to lie instate until the service hour. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to Rock Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Ruff Greenway; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine & Dennis Andrews and Vickie & Rick Tilley; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis & Trudy Greenway; sister and brother-in-law, Dianne & James Gulley; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn & Patti Greenway; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
