Guy Fain, Jr.

Mr. Guy Fain, Jr., age 67, of 412 Powderbag Creek Road, Hartwell, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Rainey Hospice House.


The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 6pm from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Tommy Cleveland and Mr. Tony Fowler will officiate and the body will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-6pm prior to the service. Born October 26, 1941 in Hart County, he was the son of Thelma Evans Fain and the late Guy Fain, Sr. He is retired from Hanesworth Mill and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors in addition to his mother of Hartwell, GA include his brothers, William Fain and Louie Fain of Hartwell; sisters, Mary Jo Dutton of Canon, Nancy Ankerich of Bowersville, Peggy Cawthon of Hartwell, Linda Farmer of Hartwell, and Joyce Woodall of Hartwell.
