Mrs. Barbara Joyce Saxon, age 54, of Elberton passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009 in her home.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2pm from the Hicks Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clifford Shepherd and Reverend Roland Molina officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8pm. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbie Saxon-Bond.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Edward Saxon; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne Saxon, Stephen and Brandy Saxon, and Eric and Susan Saxon; son-in-law David Bond; 6 grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
