Ernest Rudeseal

Mr. Ernest Aron Rudeseal, age 75 of Hartwell, passed away on August 5, 2009.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 2pm from Sharon Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Rudeseal’s wishes were that his body be donated to the Medical College of Georgia for research.

Born December 9, 1933 in Toccoa, Ga., he was the son of the late Willard Newton Rudeseal and Ella Holbrook Rudeseal. He was retired from the CDC in Atlanta and was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, The Golden K and was a Master Gardener. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict aboard the U.S.S. Bennington. Mr. Rudeseal lived in Gwinnett County before moving to Hartwell in 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Swindell Rudeseal of the home; son, Randy Alan and Vicki Rudeseal of Winston, Ga.; daughter, Lisa Gail Rudeseal, of Zebulon, Ga.; brother, Eugene and Odelia Rudeseal of Alapaha, Ga.; sisters, Jackie and Mansel Robinson of Ray City, Ga., and Edna and Willie Register of White Springs, Fl.; brother in law, Alfred Jackson of Stockbridge, Ga.; brother and sister in law, Linton and Mary Swindell of Hoschton, Ga; grandchildren, Ashlyn and Emily Rudeseal of Winston, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Agatha Jackson.
