Linda Thompson

Mrs. Linda Robertson Thompson, age 64 of 3448 Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Flat Shoals Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Fugate and Rev. Larry Cox will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is in Tthe Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home.

Born February 8, 1945 in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Robertson and Dollie Robertson. She was employed by Hart County Maintenance Dept. as a Secretary. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey G. Thompson of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Marshall Sayer of Bowersville; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Holly Thompson of Bowersville; and two grandsons, Dillon Sayer and Clay Thompson.
