Huford Payton, age 85, of 1028 Ridgeway Road, Elberton passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2009.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, APril 27, 2009 at 3pm from the memorial chapel in Berry Funeral Home. Internment will be in Harmony Baptist Church cemetery. The family will be at the home, 1028 Ridgeway Road, Elberton and will receive friends from 1-3 Monday prior to the service in Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Price Payton; sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Angela Payton and Keith Payton; one sister, Sara Payton Brown; and one granddaughter, Kristen Payton.
